DESCRIPTION

• The Tassimirim Natural Pool is located between coral reefs, with transparent waters forming real natural aquariums with a huge variety of colorful fish, corals and crustaceans. Because they are not much used for tourism, it hides an incredible diversity of marine fauna and flora. For this reason, in addition to the short distance to reach, we chose the place to practice guided snorkeling activities.
  

• We started the activity by showing a video on Conscientious Conduct in Reef Environments (5 min). We walk along the beach and along an Atlantic Forest trail (30 min) to Tassimirim Beach, where we store our belongings and walk through the warm water at low tide until we reach the Tassimirim Natural Pool.
  

• Before the snorkeling, a class is offered on the use of snorkeling equipment and on the reef ecosystem, and then we begin the diving activity accompanied by the oceanographer, lasting up to two hours. During the activity, stops are made for explanations about the observed organisms.
  

• After snorkeling, you can have lunch at Restaurante Barraca Tassimirim, one of the best restaurants on the island. It is also possible to walk to the beaches of Cueira and Moreré, as the low tide allows crossing the river.

DESCRIPTION

• We started the activity at the end of the afternoon leaving at Boca da Barra Beach and going up the river paddling along the Apiã River towards the mangrove swamp.
  

• We went up the river enjoying the sunset and entered the natural mangrove tunnel enjoying the silence and listening to the sound of birds. We take a class on the local ecosystem and we have a stop to swim in the river with warm waters. At the end of sunset we return to the starting point.
  

• On this tour it is NOT possible to observe the phenomenon of bioluminescence.
  

• For those who like to watch the sunset and do some physical exercise, this is the ideal tour. The path requires a little physical activity because of the tidal variations. The tour can be done in single, double or Stand Up Paddle kayak (depending on availability and level of experience).

DESCRIPTION

• We started the experience with a class on how to paddle a kayak and on the phenomenon of bioluminescence. Then we boarded the kayak for the night leaving Praia da Boca da Barra. We went up the river paddling along the Apiã River towards the mangrove.
  

• We paddled up the river in kayaks, appreciating the sky, the stars and the moon depending on its phase. For the bravest ones, we have a stop at the river beach to swim with plankton. Afterwards, we entered the mangrove tunnel to better experience the phenomenon of Bioluminescence, passing the hand through the water to see the planktons glow up close. At the end of the tunnel, we return to the starting point.
  

• If you are looking for a different tour with adrenaline, physical exercise and bioluminescent phenomena, this is the ideal tour. The route requires little physical exercise as the tide is not always in your favor, and can be done in single or double kayak (depending on availability).

• When night comes, the continuation of the experience depends on the week's schedule depending on the tide table, with the possibility of viewing the Bioluminescence or NOT. Humpback Whale watching

DESCRIPTION

• This is the tour to get to know humpback whales in a respectful and educational way, visitors to our coast every year.
  

• Our experience begins with the check-in at our agency, where a class will take place with information about the life of whales and a safety briefing on the high seas. Then, we walk to the vessel where the boarding will take place, at Boca da Barra beach or at Outeiro beach (we can get our clothes wet up to the waist) in an exclusive boat and we will sail for approximately 2 hours towards the area conducive to finding the whales.
  

• Respecting the Norms of Sighting, after observing the whales and moving away from the place where they are found, swimming in deep waters is allowed.

The rocking of the boat can cause nausea, dizziness and seasickness, so we have some important tips before boarding to make the trip more pleasant:

• Avoid cigarettes, alcohol and foods that contain caffeine (coffee, black tea, soda and chocolate);
